An apprehension is perhaps the most popular discipline of a working dog. Working Dogs are trained to apprehend dangerous suspects and hold them during the event. In many situations, they are the first to put their lives on the line and go in against an armed suspect to protect their human partners.
The motto, "BET WE'LL FIND YOU", is a test of oneself and a reflection of canines' ability to apprehend a suspect.
Inspiration by Gustavo Vallejo
Gustavo Vallejo is a Lieutenant for a Florida Law Enforcement Agency who was a K9 Handler and worked his way up the ranks to supervising the canine unit. Gustavo is also a Marine Veteran who was deployed to Iraq where he received the following awards; Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon (Iraq), Presidential Unit Citation, Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal w/2 bronze campaign stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service and Deployment Ribbon.
